Microsoft Paint Brawl

Welcome, friends and foes. Whether you are new to the Brawl or just an old guy lurking for little children online, I humbly welcome you to the world of Brawl through whatever link you probably didn't mean to click.

What is the Brawl you ask?

You see, it all began sometime, about 2 years ago now from this post, on a site called Newgrounds.com. Here, there was a thread known as "MS Paint Brawl", a thread made obese with spam and unadulterated action. In this thread, a user called "Trinidex" proposed that the users promote a new form of art on the otherwise "picture for perfect" site, encouraging people with the Microsoft Paint program to rise up and draw some pictures of stick figures, poorly-drawn characters, weapons, and random mystical objects battling each other. It was a glorious idea at first, giving those who did not match up to the "artistic standard" of flash animation a chance to have fun fighting on the internet.

But as expected, it soon came crumbling down as the word "MS Paint" became a catchphrase for "phallus", or in internet terms, "penis joke". Users began drawing more and more pictures of penieses, some for the sheer hilarity of it and others to symbolize the threads constantly degrading ethics. It all ended after the thread had reached over a hundred something pages and users had gained months worth of posting.

Rumors soon spread that the original "thread", a forum room, was deleted by monitors after reaching 198, COUNT IT, ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-EGIHT pages in a couple of days. We don't truly know how many pages it went as many of the current "Brawlers", those still loyal to the effort, gradually pined away from the thread in its later corruption...and then are those who simply thought it best to avoid the thread or maybe post at a future date.

NEVERTHELESS, it no longer exists. The Aftermath replenished the furies and reset Newgrounds back into a brief period of civil peace, before chaos inevitable erupted again over such topics such as "wwwyzerad" and "catgirlz". Here is...the farthest back piece of our history...still alive.

However, a brave continent of Brawlers gathered together and summoned the strongest and most willing of us all from the slums of the internet we'd all been forced into by Newgrounds security. They bound together and thought up another way for artistically-challenged users to express themselves in creative, interesting, and otherwise unexplainable ways.


I bring you...Super Paint Brawl, formerly known as MS Paint Brawl.

While we have formed a small community, I speak for us all, we implore others to join the Brawl, to express yourself without fear of being judged by lack of talent or perhaps just luck, you don't need some fancy $500-graphic designs class or media tech program to have fun here, all you need is Microsoft Paint, a feature that should come with every computer, and the ability to use it to your mind's liberty.
